The Big Screen Company is proud to continue our partnership with RSL Victoria to bring you the 2020 Victorian State Remembrance Day service live on Facebook at 10:45am on Wednesday 11 November.
Every year at 11 am on 11 November—the eleventh hour of the eleventh day of the eleventh month—we pause to remember those men and women who have died or suffered in all wars, conflicts and peace operations. This year marks the 75th anniversary of the end of the Second World War.
Like so many other events this year, Victorians will be unable to gather at the Shrine of Remembrance on November 11 and will need to commemorate Remembrance Day from home. This year the Victorian State Remembrance Day service will be a mixture of pre-recorded and live elements, and The Big Screen Company has been busy recording these segments on location over the past days.
You are invited to watch the service online from home via the RSL Victoria and Shrine of Remembrance Facebook pages from 10.45am on November 11 to commemorate all of those who have served and continue to serve our country
